My first prediction is that there new chief will help them regain there strength and there hope as group or clan.Also to help recruit new clan members so they can rebuild there lost men in the fight.Also i think they will try to get better weopons. My second prediction is that they come up with a big plan or setup too get back at the russians and fight back what was rightfuly theres as a clan.Also in the beginning it sounded like the russians had more modern or advanced thechnology because alot of people in there clan haven't even seen a real boat.Plus the way he talked was more modern.

ReplyDelete1: I predict that the captain will go and not give them their share. I predict that because when they agreed the captain was smiling and before that, the captain all the seal skin to himself. The Russians also have a bad history of fooling the Ghalas-at tribe before.
ReplyDelete2: I predict that the captain and his crew are getting ready to give the Ghalas-at tribe their share and leave. The captain did say “It was led by captain Mitriff who was a fool and is now dead” so it could be the captain that fooled them. He probably smiled because he wanted to make them happy and trust them more because of their history.-Theresa G24
1. I think the captain will start a battle. He does not seem like a good person to me. He didn't answer the question about dividing the sea otters evenly right away. i did not believe him. I think he could be like the past Aleuts. The island people seem afraid of him. That is my prediction.
ReplyDelete2. I think the animals that they hunt will disappear due to hunting. The captain might hunt their food. The island people might have to move because there would be a lack of animals to eat.

My first prediction is that I think that the Aleut tribe will catch as many sea-otters as they can. Also they would possibly not pay for the sea-otters. They would just leave to another area without paying.They might also steal and kill other animals and catch fish so they will be all packed up during the night. The people who are watching the land might not see them.
ReplyDeleteMy other prediction is the Aleut tribe might pay for the sea-otters, but still I think that they will steal other animals during the night and make the get-away. Captian Orlov might do something to the Cheif of Ghalas-at (a.k.a Cheif Chowig) because by the way the story goes it seems that Captian Orlav really hates Cheif Chowig. Captian Orlavv and his tribe might attak the Ghalas-at people and take revenge, so they would just kill and hunt as many sea-otters (and other animals) as they want. ---Dar G13
I think that the Aleuts would fight the Ghalas. I think that they will go for it at Coral Cave. Also I think that the Aletus will win the battle.

My first prediction is that I think Captain Orlov and the Aleuts are mad at the Chief of the village because he wouldn't share the the fish with them. So, Captain Orlov is probably going to try to leave without paying the people in the village their fair share of the otter hunt. I think the Chief knows this because he is sharpening his spear.
ReplyDeleteMy second prediction is that because Captain Orlov and the Aleuts might try to sneak away. The villagers and the Chief will then start a battle with the Captain and the Aleut hunters to get their share. I think the battle will be fierce, but the Captain and the hunters will have the upper hand and probably win.
